Betty took on our listing and in record time (less than a week) had it rented & the contract signed! She was super motivated, organised a video of the property within a day of us contacting her. She quickly arranged viewings, identified a highly qualified lead and helped negotiate the terms. Plenty of practical value-add advice on how best to show the house, as well as admin support in facilitating the whole process from start to finish. Amazing job, would highly recommend. Thank you! - John Howard, President at Summit Asset Management
Betty found a wonderful tenant for my apartment in a very short time. I was exceedingly pleased with the service received from Betty and Terra. She responded very quickly after being contacted about the listing and had the apartment displayed on the Terra site and posted on social media within a couple days. She made sensible suggestions to enhance the apartment and make it more attractive for prospective tenants. She was easy to reach, responded immediately to queries and generally made a potentially stressful experience into a very pleasant one. Thank you so much Betty! I would highly recommend contacting Betty for any real estate needs! - Kristina Evelyn, Director
When my wife and I started to think about buying a holiday home in Barbados we contacted a number of Estate Agents/Realtors to ask for advice. Betty's response was prompt and by far the most helpful. She helped us to draw up a shortlist before we left the UK. Once in Barbados she drove us round the areas, explaining the pros and cons, and to the individual properties she had already arranged viewings on. Clearly someone who loves her job and loves helping people. One of those rare people who always goes the extra mile. Even now a year after buying our villa we sometimes contact her for information or advice on Bajan matters, usually not property related, and she is always extremely friendly and helpful. - Richard Watters, Managing Director at Wattlet
When we were considering a purchase of a home in Barbados, Betty was of immense help. She had solid and current knowledge of competitive offerings, was extremely patient while we examined many, many properties and was always there to assist in any way. We have often said that Betty was the reason we purchased our home. It didn't end there. Betty made sure that everything that was promised to us at the time of sale was delivered and went out of her way to ensure we were happy. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone. - Byren Innes, Strategic Advisor
Betty is an exceptional agent. She really listened to our specific needs. Very responsive to messages. She drove us all over the island as we narrowed our search. We love our new home – a perfect fit for us. Thank you Betty. - Katherine Dossa, Financial Regulation Lawyer
I feel like I just witnessed the close of 2019 and yet here I am galloping towards the end of February already. This year has opened with a feeling of optimism. The team is exceptionally busy and we sense a shift in the market. As always, my analytical side wants to know what do the numbers say? Is that gut feeling that things are improving right?
People often ask me how the market is performing. Rather than sharing how I think the market is performing, I prefer to share the facts. In this month’s market report, I seek to answer the questions – “Is demand for real estate increasing?”, “Where is the highest demand?” and “What are some of the key trends?”
We are now past the half-year mark for 2019. How did that happen so fast? I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the last 6-months and share some insights into the residential long-term rental market so far for the year.
In this weeks' edition of "Agent Facts", our Real Estate Agent Betty Cathrow provides the answer to a question she is frequently faced with - “What do I do if I bought a property before I was married, and now want to sell it, but have changed my name?”
