Barbados has an abundance of things to do on any given night. Local bars and rumshop limes provide a casual alternative, or visit a nightclub or beach party – there’s always something happening for an exciting evening out.

Bridgetown:

Boatyard Bar & South Deck Grill sits the beachfront and is open daily with a DJ in the house every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. With a large central bar and open-air dancefloor the Boatyeard is a local favourite. Taboo is a themed fete on Saturday nights and it features some of the hottest local and international acts.

Harbour Lights is situated in a seafront building with a large deck that allows you to dance under the stars. Every Monday night there is a beach party with a sumptuous barbeque buffet, drinks, a live band and other entertainment. Their popular nights for locals and visitors alike at the nightclub are Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and the party goes until early in the morning.

Waterfront Café features live jazz night every Thursday and has become a famous eatery and watering hole in the centre of Bridgetown by the careenage.

South Coast:

Bajan Roots & Rhythms, Plantation Theatre and Restaurant is a showcase of the best Barbadian talent in the format of  dinner theater and Caribbean cabaret. It is a walk through our cultural heritage and Caribbean traditional dance – a very enjoyable night out. Every Wednesday and Friday, dinner is served at 7:15pm, followed at 8:15pm by a show “Bajan Roots and Rhythm”.

Oistin’s Fish Fry is one of the “must see” events on the Barbados evening scene.  Friday and Saturday nights are abuzz in this busy fishing village with several food stalls providing the Fresh Catch of The Day prepared as a tasty treat. Live music, local craft and of course lots of Banks Beer complete an evening out.

The Ship Inn  is one of the leading drinking, dining, and entertainment centres. They feature top local bands 3 nights a week and there is a good mix of locals and vistors.

Boardwalk Lime features the SUNDOGS band with a live rock & blues genre at the Alamanda Hotel on the boardwalk.

West Coast:

Scarlet as mentioned above is a restaurant but it is also a martini and wine bar. It is opened from Tuesday to Sunday.
